Shoe Dilemma

As I have said before, three years ago, I am a SUCKER for coned heels. Since I didn’t end up getting the other shoes,, I am having a dilemma:

I say #1 though they are $18 more. But I would imagine 2 would look SO good on. I want both though. Decisions!

#1 reminds me of the Balenciaga hoof boots, which I have no idea how i am fascinated by them. I wish I had caught the VS Sam Eldeman knockoffs in time (and would’ve made $$$ on ebay while at it).

My best friend was saying she wasn’t sure about these Dolce Vita shoes regarding the peeptoes: “Are you a sandal or a shoe?” But I love them, as I am a SUCKER for cone shaped heels. Oh well, I am not sure that the 7.5 will fit! They don’t look very comfortable.

So I think I will opt for these Nine West platform peeptoe slingbacks, as they look more comfortable though they stand at 4 3/4″ tall.

I know this style is 2 years late, but I prefer not to wear trends at the height of the craziness. Of course Miucca would be the one to bring back a vintage style. I love hats and headwear in general, so naturally the Prada headband that started the craze would appeal to me. Originally selling for $300 two years ago, I think it would be so easy to make myself, and it will be my sewing project. So I found a pattern and plan to try to do and perhaps sell some on etsy. This is before my mom demonstrated how I could tie some simple neck scarves that way. However, I want the want with the elastic in the back like the one Miucca designed:

Get Into It! (Agenda)

My Spring Agenda, which won’t be as complete as my past Fall Agenda.

High waisted, wide-legged pants! Particularly in bright, juicy colors.

To be worn with heels, for maximum sophistication. I can’t stress enough how they are coming back! I can only hope this high waisted trend I am seeing (and been craving) at stores will produce some WIDER legs, soon. I am only seeing really tapered cuts which are fine, but this whole mass producing the 80′s look is going to produce some serious fashion mishaps for those that don’t know any better. Moving on.

Rompers! (Jumpers fall under here too)

I have some rompers, that I have bought at thrift stores that are more than 3 years old. They haven’t had the chance to be worn yet but I will pop them out this summer. Some stores, labels, and designers are offering romper styles this spring and summer, with more modern, flattering cuts. One example, that I love is the one being offered here. And with that follows…

Jumpsuits!

With heels, of course, 3 inches and higher. As well as with the rompers, I have some jumpsuits I have thrifted. One of which is so short that I had plans to turn it into a jumper, 2 years ago. Note to self, get on it.

Culottes!

You know, looks like a skirt but are totally pants, to the knees. Preferrably in an overalls style, slightly fitted at the hips. To be worn with tights, naturally.

50′s Style Swimsuits

I have wanted one forever! I guess I will just have to buy an authentic one.

Platforms

I have tried to avoid it, but after buying a pair of woven t-strap sandals with a light platform front I’m into it!

I can only wish I could afford any Tsumori Chisato piece from her Spring 2007 Ready To Wear collection.

I saw a piece in person at the Honey in the Rough opening last night. If only I had the money to buy that beautiful, sunny yellow embroidered shift dress last night, at the price tag of $438.

I can’t find the dress that I was drooling over last night though.
